Draughtsman – Retail Store Design

Job Summary

We are looking for a Draughtsman with hands-on experience in retail store layouts and design drawings. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD 2D and SketchUp and have experience working on store design projects in Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, Interior, Architecture, or Shopfitting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D store layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D layouts and models using SketchUp.
- Develop detailed drawings for store layouts, fixtures, racks, counters, partitions, signage and other retail elements.
- Prepare drawings with accurate dimensions, elevations, sections and detailing.
- Understand site measurements and convert them into accurate design drawings.
- Coordinate with Design Managers, Architects, Contractors and Vendors for design execution.
- Modify drawings based on site requirements and project changes.




- Ensure drawings are accurate and aligned with approved store design standards.
- Support the team during store execution and shopfitting activities.

Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D – Mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp – Mandatory.
- Experience in Retail Store Layout / Store Design.
- Positive understanding of technical drawings, dimensions and space planning.
- Knowledge of retail fixtures, shopfitting and interior execution.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, Interior Design, Architecture or Shopfitting industries are preferred.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates who have hands-on experience in creating retail store layouts and technical drawings, rather than candidates with only general drafting experience.
