Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure & DevOps Lead with 15+ years of experience in managing enterprise infrastructure, middleware platforms, DevOps tooling, and cloud environments.

The role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of driving platform stability, automation, performance tuning, and security compliance across hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + Azure).

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Platform Management

- Manage and support Red Hat Linux & Windows Server environments at scale
- Perform server provisioning, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management
- Monitor hardware alerts, system health, and capacity planning
- Manage virtualized environments using VMware
- Ensure high availability, DR readiness, and system reliability

DevOps & Automation

- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, ANT
- Integrate and manage artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory)
- Implement automation using Shell Scripting and Ansible
- Manage source code versioning via SVN, Bitbucket
- Drive DevOps best practices across build, release, and deployment lifecycle

Middleware & Application Support

- Administer and support:
- JBoss, Apache Tomcat
- Apache ActiveMQ (Messaging)

- Handle application deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of middleware platforms

Cloud & Modern Infrastructure

- Work on Azure cloud deployments, operations, and integrations
- Manage hybrid environments (On-Prem + Cloud)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code / automation practices where applicable
- Ensure secure configurations, SSL certificate lifecycle management

Database & Security Management

- Manage MySQL and Oracle database environments
- Perform backup, recovery, tuning, and performance optimization




- Handle PGP encryption, security protocols, and vulnerability remediation
- Drive compliance, patching, and audit readiness activities

Monitoring, Incident & Problem Management

- Monitor system performance and analyze trends to prevent incidents
- Handle incident, problem, and change management (ITIL aligned)
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Maintain system documentation and operational runbooks

Collaboration & Governance

- Work with development, QA, and architecture teams to ensure stable delivery
- Participate in release planning and environment strategy
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
- Use tools like Jira, Crowd for tracking, access control, and governance

Experience & Qualifications

- 15+ years in Infrastructure / Production Support / DevOps Engineering
- Robust hands-on experience in enterprise server & middleware environments
- Proven experience in automation and DevOps pipeline implementation
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience in performance tuning and system optimization
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes

- Ensure platform stability, uptime, and security posture
- Act as SME for infrastructure + DevOps + middleware stack
