Job Purpose
To lead the Production Planning & Control function for pressing and stamping operations, ensuring optimum utilization of machines, manpower, dies, materials and capacity while achieving production targets, on-time delivery, inventory control and cost objectives.

Establish PPC dashboards and daily/weekly/monthly MIS.

Monitor key KPIs such as:
Plan vs. Actual Production
Schedule Adherence
On-Time Delivery
Machine Utilization
Capacity Utilization
OEE
Changeover Time
WIP Inventory
RM Inventory
Production Lead Time
Scrap & Rejection
Ensure accurate ERP/MRP transactions and master-data discipline.
Use production data for forecasting, planning and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Continuous Improvement

Required Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in pressing, stamping, sheet-metal components, automotive components or precision engineering.
Strong experience in production planning, capacity planning, material planning and shop-floor coordination.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle,



Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Excel, production MIS and data analysis.

Ideal Candidate: A strong PPC leader who understands both ERP-based planning and actual shop-floor realities of presses, dies, materials, changeovers and production constraints, and can convert customer demand into an executable, cost-effective production plan.
