Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL/BigQuery, Row-Level Security (RLS), tenant administration, and workspace management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing enterprise-grade dashboards and reports while also managing the Power BI environment, including tenant settings, workspace access, governance, security, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Develop optimized data models and reporting solutions using DAX and Power Query (M).
- Extract, transform, and integrate data from BigQuery, SQL databases, and other enterprise data sources.
- Manage Power BI tenant settings, governance policies, security controls, and usage monitoring.
- Administer and govern Power BI workspaces across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Configure workspace roles, permissions, access controls, and security policies.
- Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS), including dynamic RLS, for secure data access.
- Manage datasets, data refresh schedules, gateways, and Power BI Service operations.
- Monitor Power BI usage, performance, refresh failures, and capacity-related issues.
- Apply best practices for data modelling, visualization, dashboard design, and report performance.




- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting reliability.
- Establish Power BI governance standards and promote self-service BI adoption.
- Troubleshoot report, dataset, gateway, refresh, and access-related issues.
- Participate in code/review processes and maintain technical documentation.

Mandatory Skills

- Proven experience developing enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI.
- Solid hands-on experience with:
- Power BI
- DAX
- SQL / Google BigQuery
- Power Query / Power Query M

- Strong understanding of data security models including:

- RBAC
- RLS / Dynamic RLS
- OLS
- ILS

- Hands-on experience with Power BI Administration, including:

- Tenant settings
- Workspace management and governance
- User/group access management
- Security policies
- Power BI Service administration
