Senior Network Engineer IT Operations Infrastructure

Purpose of Role:

Provide L3 ownership for network infrastructure, including incident escalations, troubleshooting, routing, switching, securityhardeningand firmware upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

- L3 troubleshooting for Cisco Fortinet based networks, prepare RCA for major incidents, supportservice restoration.

- VLAN, routing (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP),firewall(Fortinet Policy RuleMgmt)and VPN (IPSec / SSL) administration.

- Security:firewallrule reviews, segmentation, vulnerabilityremediationand PT remediation.

- Upgrades migrations: perform device firmware upgrades (IOS, NX-OS), network migration activities, and technology refresh projects.

- Monitoring: review escalations from L1 monitoring tools (e.g.SolarWinds), perform network eventanalysisand capacity trend forecasting.

- Documentation:maintainconfiguration documents, update HLD/LLD and operational runbooks/SOP.





Required Experience Skills:

- 58 years of Cisco switching/routing and Fortinetfirewalladministration in enterprise networks.

- Solid knowledge of network security, VPN technologies, QoS,firewallmgmtand MPLS architectures.

- Proficiencywith network monitoring and trending tools; experience with RCA SLA compliance.

Preferred Certifications Qualifications:

- CCNA (minimum), ideally CCNP (ENARSI, DC)

- Fortinet NSE (levels 47)

- ITIL Foundation

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Network Team Lead; coordinates with Security and Monitoring teams.
