Job Summary

The Finance Business Partner - EIIC (Mobility business) provides end-to-end financial support to MobilityBusiness group and program portfolios executed at the Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC). The role serves as a key liaison between Mobility business stakeholders, EIIC engineering teams, and global finance, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate forecasting, cost control, and timely billing for Mobility programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Financial Planning Forecasting - Support annual Profit Plan (PP), monthly forecasts, and outlook cycles for the MObility business by analyzing financial data and assisting in alignment of headcount, OpEx, and project spend with approved plans in collaboration with Mobility and EIIC stakeholders.
- Cost Management Governance - Track and analyze OpEx, travel, flex costs, temporary staffing, and project expenses against business targets; highlight variances and support cost control activities.
- Project Program Financial Support - Provide financial analysis and ongoing support for Mobility NPI, NTI, and strategic programs executed through EIIC.
- Billing, Invoicing Timesheet Governance - Assist in ensuring accurate and timely billing and invoicing for Mobility programs, including validation of rates, hours, and charge codes, and support timesheet compliance.
- Reporting Stakeholder Communication - Prepare financial dashboards, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support Mobility leadership discussions and EIIC finance reviews.




- Process Improvement Digitization - Support identification and implementation of improvements in finance processes, automation, and data accuracy (e.g., dashboards, analytics).
- Business partnering - Support proposal management by participating in the development of financial analysis for new program business proposals, capital investments, and potential recent product endeavors. (costbenefit, GoNo Go, Makeoutsource etc.)

Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Costing or Management Accounting. CA/CWA/CMA/MBA preferred

7-10 years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Project Accounting, or FPA, preferably in an engineerin/ RD

Skills

- Expertise in process and product costing and finance, Cost-benefit, Techno commercial analysis, Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools, Power apps, Power BI, AI, other automation tools
- Experience with ERP / planning systems (e.g., Oracle) and timesheet tools (e.g., Tenrox).
- Ability to analyze large datasets and convert them into meaningful insights.i
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective cross-functional relationships in a matrix environment; detail-oriented with proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results under tight timelines.
