Technical Architect Python & DevOps

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineering Architect with robust hands-on expertise in Python, API development, DevOps, cloud, and developer platforms. The role will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving platform engineering initiatives, and building scalable automation and CI/CD solutions.The ideal candidate will combine architectural ownership with strong hands-on engineering capabilities, working closely with development, DevOps, and cloud teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive architecture and technical design for platform engineering and automation solutions.
- Develop scalable Python-based applications, automation frameworks, and APIs.
- Architect and implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Design and enhance internal developer platforms using Backstage and/or Harness.
- Define cloud-native architectures across AKS, Azure, OpenShift, GCP, and Kubernetes environments.




- Establish best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, security, and reliability.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on architecture and engineering standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and drive platform modernization and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to AIDLC / AI-driven engineering and automation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

- 10+ years of software / engineering experience
- Strong Python development experience
- API / REST API development
- Strong DevOps & CI/CD experience
- GitHub Actions
- Backstage and/or Harness
- Cloud & Kubernetes
- Linux
- Architecture and technical design experience

Ideal CandidateAn Architect-level engineer who can own the architecture while remaining hands-on with Python, APIs, DevOps, cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
