We are looking for Python Automation Test Engineers in Pune.

Mode: Hybrid

Round: 3 rounds (Technical)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright or other.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate API testing using tools/frameworks such as Requests, PyTest, or similar.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and promote automation best practices across teams.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Ensure test coverage, maintainability, and scalability of automation frameworks.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Playwright automation framework.
- Experience with PyTest, unittest,



or other Python testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience in API testing and automation.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure Boards, TestRail, etc.
- Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with security testing concepts.

Education
