Role Overview

The Senior Manager Powerplant will lead and oversee aircraft Powerplant and engine maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant maintenance operations. The role requires a strong technical leader who can manage Powerplant teams, coordinate maintenance planning and execution, and ensure work is completed as per approved procedures, regulatory requirements and Aviation standards

Key Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in aircraft Powerplant/engine maintenance.
- DGCA AME B1 Licence with relevant aircraft type rating Mandatory.
- Strong experience in engine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and defect rectification.
- Experience managing Powerplant/technical maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, manpower deployment, and work allocation.
- Experience on Airbus/Boeing aircraft and relevant engines preferred.
- Good knowledge of DGCA regulations, airworthiness, safety, quality, and approved maintenance procedures.
- Strong technical, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities





- Lead and supervise Powerplant and engine maintenance activities.
- Manage technical teams, manpower, tools, and maintenance resources.
- Monitor engine troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and defect rectification.
- Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations, approved maintenance data, safety, quality, and airworthiness requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Review maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Resolve technical and operational issues and drive corrective actions.
- Develop team capability through technical guidance and supervision.
