Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues related to connectivity, routing, latency, packet loss, and network performance.
- Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
- Configure and manage VLANs, Trunking, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, and other switching technologies.
- Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and utilization.
- Perform network configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, ARP, ICMP, and other network-related issues.
- Work closely with security, systems, cloud, application, and telecom teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.
- Analyze network traffic using tools such as Wireshark and other packet-analysis utilities.
- Implement and troubleshoot QoS for critical applications, voice, and video traffic.
- Maintain network diagrams, configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Handle incidents, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for WAN, circuit, hardware, and connectivity-related issues.
- Participate in network infrastructure projects, audits, upgrades,



and disaster recovery activities.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Networking and Network Infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and subnetting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches or equivalent enterprise networking equipment.
- Strong understanding of Routing & Switching.
- Experience with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, STP, HSRP/VRRP.
- Knowledge of WAN technologies, MPLS, SD-WAN, and Internet connectivity.
- Good understanding of network security, firewalls, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark and network troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of QoS and network performance optimization.

Good to Have

- Experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point firewalls.
- Exposure to Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, SDN, or data-center networking.
- Knowledge of Cloud Networking – AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Experience with F5 Load Balancers or other ADC technologies.
- Exposure to network automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.
- CCNA / CCNP certification or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience working in a 24×7 production support setting.
