About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic AI/ML CoE Intern to join our Center of Excellence and support the organization in exploring, developing, and implementing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, automation, IoT, and emerging technology solutions.

The intern will work closely with technology, business, and innovation teams to identify use cases, build prototypes/POCs, evaluate AI tools and platforms, and support the development of reusable AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Research emerging AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, and automation technologies.
- Identify and evaluate potential AI/ML use cases across business functions.
- Develop POCs, prototypes, and small-scale AI/ML applications.
- Assist in building and testing GenAI solutions using APIs, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG frameworks.
- Support data preparation, preprocessing, model evaluation, and performance analysis.
- Experiment with AI tools and platforms and document findings.
- Assist in developing AI-powered automation and internal productivity tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and translate them into technology solutions.
- Maintain documentation of AI use cases, experiments, POCs, architectures, and learnings.
- Support the CoE in creating reusable frameworks, components, prompts, and best practices.
- Track developments in AI/ML and recommend technologies that could benefit the organization.
- Support responsible AI initiatives including security, privacy, governance, and model-risk considerations.

Required Skills
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python.
- Understanding of fundamental concepts such as:
- Machine Learning
- Deep Learning
- NLP




- Generative AI
- LLMs

- Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI tools.
- Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, databases, and web applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to research, experiment, learn quickly, and present findings clearly.

Good to Have
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of SQL and data visualization.
- Exposure to Power Automate, UiPath, or other automation platforms.
- Exposure to IoT, Blockchain, Computer Vision, or other emerging technologies.
- Any academic/personal AI project, GitHub project, hackathon, or AI-based application.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA/BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI/ML, Electronics, or a related discipline.

Students in their pre-final/final year and recent graduates can apply.

Ideal Candidate

Someone who is curious, hands-on, and willing to experiment rather than someone who only has theoretical knowledge. The candidate should enjoy building things, exploring recent AI tools, solving business problems, and converting ideas into working prototypes.
