Job Description for Senior M365 / Intune Client Management Specialist

Major responsibilities:

Technical Delivery

Provide operational support for Microsoft 365 and Intune services

Manage configurations and support infrastructure scripting/automation

Architecture & Platform

Contribute to platform documentation, standards, and best practices

Support and implement architectural decisions and improvements

Collaboration

Participate in global support reviews

Work within Agile frameworks (Kanban/Scrum)

Promote self-organization and effective use of collaboration tools

Process Improvement

Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, planning)

Identify and drive operational and process improvements

Requirement profile:

Formal education: A Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management

Professional experience: Proven industry experience (5 – 8+ years)

Defined competencies:

Should possess very good knowledge in the areas of :

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive)

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager)

Experience in configuration management and endpoint/device management

Basic to intermediate scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for automation and administration

Understanding of contemporary workplace and cloud architecture concepts

Architecture & Platform Knowledge

Ability to contribute to platform design, documentation, and best practices





Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and service integration

Experience supporting and implementing architecture decisions

Operational & Support Skills

Experience in IT operations and support environments

Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

Ability to manage configurations and ensure service stability and reliability

Collaboration & Agile Skills

Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)

Strong collaboration skills with global and cross-functional teams

Ability to use and promote collaboration tools effectively

Process Improvement & Automation

Ability to identify and implement process improvements

Experience in automation and operational efficiency initiatives

Active participation in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement activities

Professional Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability

Strong time management and prioritization skills

Preferable (Nice to have) skill

Relevant professional certifications, such as MD-102 endpoint, MO-211, 700 certifications.
