Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Area Manager Gold Loan to manage multiple branches, drive gold-loan business growth, ensure operational efficiency, and lead branch teams across the assigned area. Candidates with strong experience in gold loan sales, operations, branch management and team handling will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor operations of multiple gold loan branches.
- Drive achievement of gold loan disbursement, AUM, renewal and revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate and monitor Branch Managers and Gold Loan teams.
- Develop strategies for customer acquisition and business growth.
- Monitor branch profitability, productivity and operational KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI guidelines and internal processes.
- Ensure proper gold valuation, custody, documentation and audit compliance.
- Conduct regular branch visits and performance reviews.
- Identify business gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Manage portfolio quality, overdue accounts and auction-related activities.
- Coordinate with Credit,



Operations, Audit, Risk and Collections teams.
- Recruit, train and develop branch personnel.
- Prepare and submit regular MIS and performance reports to senior management.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 815 years of experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Banking.
- Solid experience in Gold Loan Sales & Operations.
- Experience managing multiple branches/locations is preferred.
- Strong team leadership and target-achievement skills.
- Good knowledge of gold valuation, documentation, compliance and branch operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

Preferred Background: Muthoot Finance, Muthoot FinCorp, Manappuram Finance, IIFL Finance, Bajaj Finance, Indel Money, Rupeek, regional NBFCs and other gold-loan companies
