Role Description The Sales Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Deoghar.

The Sales

Officer will be responsible for driving sales targets, managing distributor and retailer relationships, and ensuring product availability and visibility in the assigned territory. Day-to-day activities include visiting retail outlets, coordinating with channel partners, monitoring stock levels, and executing promotional and trade marketing initiatives. The role also involves generating leads, tracking sales performance, preparing basic sales reports, and sharing market feedback with management.

Officer will collaborate closely with the sales operations team to maintain smooth order processing, collections, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to manage retailer relationships and address inquiries effectively.

- Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation and Sales Operations to identify new business opportunities and support structured sales processes.

- Candidates should possess experience in Channel Sales to work with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners across the territory.

- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in FMCG or retail sales, particularly in field sales or territory management.

- Candidates should have good numerical aptitude, basic MS Excel knowledge, and the ability to prepare and interpret easy sales reports.

- Candidates should be comfortable with extensive field travel within Deoghar and nearby areas and be able to work independently to achieve targets.

- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, though relevant sales experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
