Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for leading and managing the sales team, setting and achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth across retail and distribution channels. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing sales plans, monitoring performance metrics, forecasting demand, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners.

The Sales

Manager will collaborate with marketing, design, and operations to support product launches, promotions,



and merchandising strategies aligned with brand objectives. The role also involves training and mentoring sales staff, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring a high-quality in-store experience consistent with the Tales & Stories brand.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in retail, apparel, or consumer goods.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
- Ability to develop sales strategies, analyze sales data, and prepare forecasts and reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong customer focus, with an understanding of parents’ and children’s product needs.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, merchandising, and operations.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools and CRM or POS systems to track sales and customer interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
