Quality Manager | 8–12 YearsMSR Infraa | Bengaluru /n We are not looking for someone to inspect quality after the work is done. /n We are looking for a Quality Manager who can build quality into the process before the work begins. /n At MSR Infraa, we are building Canvas of Life with a prevention-first approach to construction quality. We believe great quality is not created through endless snagging and rework — it is created through better systems, better benchmarks, better documentation, and better execution discipline. /n We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will take ownership of this philosophy across the project. /n What You Will Own1.
Build Quality In — Don't Inspect It In /n /n
- Develop and own ITPs, method statements and stage-wise quality checklists across structure, blockwork, plaster, waterproofing, tiling, MEP, finishes and façade.
/n
- Establish first-pour, first-unit and benchmark approvals before work is replicated at scale.
/n
- Set acceptance standards for critical finishes through approved mock-ups and samples.
/n
- Ensure the quality standard is defined, agreed and understood before execution begins.
/n /n 2. Solve the Cause, Not the Symptom /n /n
- Treat recurring defects as process failures, not simply worker failures.
/n
- Lead structured NCR, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis processes.
/n
- Identify the conditions that created a defect and permanently eliminate them.
/n
- Convert lessons from previous projects into improved construction methods.
/n /n 3. Own Material & Vendor Quality /n /n
- Define material specifications and approval procedures.
/n
- Review material samples, submittals and incoming material inspections.
/n
- Maintain an approved makes list and ensure specified materials are actually installed.
/n
- Establish strong quality controls across contractors and vendors.
/n /n 4. Create an Auditable Quality System /n Maintain complete and retrievable records covering: /n /n
- Cube & slump tests
/n
- Reinforcement inspections
/n
- Waterproofing & flood tests
/n
- Material approvals
/n
- MEP testing & commissioning
/n
- NCRs and CAPA
/n
- Inspection checklists
/n
- Benchmark and mock-up approvals
/n
- Key quality decisions and sign-offs
/n /n If quality cannot be evidenced, it cannot be defended. /n 5.
Work Closely
With the Project Team /n /n
- Conduct daily site walks and engage execution teams before and during activities, not only after completion.
/n
- Coordinate with structural consultants, MEP consultants, architects and the internal engineering team.
/n
- Pay particular attention to slab levels, shafts, penetrations, waterproofing and service coordination.
/n
- Train and coach site engineers, supervisors and contractor teams on agreed construction methods.
/n /n 6.
Own Handover
Quality /n /n
- Lead the snagging and de-snagging process for apartments and common areas.
/n
- Drive the project towards shorter snag lists through upstream quality control.
/n
- Ensure clean customer handover with complete documentation.
/n
- Protect project quality throughout the defect-liability period.
/n /n The Way We Expect You to Handle Problems /n When something goes wrong on site, we don't start by asking who is responsible. /n We ask: /n What allowed this to happen? /n The right candidate will be the calmest person in the room when things go wrong — someone who can understand site constraints, listen to the execution team, protect the quality standard and arrive at a solution without unnecessarily damaging relationships or the project schedule. /n We are looking for someone who can influence without creating fear. /n What We're Looking For /n Qualification /n /n
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
/n
- Six Sigma / ISO 9001 / Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
/n /n Experience /n /n
- 8–12 years of experience in construction quality.
/n
- Strong exposure to high-rise residential and premium/luxury construction.
/n
- Hands-on experience with G+ towers, waterproofing, large-format tiling, premium finishes and MEP testing & commissioning.
/n
- Strong understanding of IS Codes, NBC, IGBC documentation, RERA quality obligations and high-rise construction requirements.
/n
- Practical experience with QMS, ITPs, NCR/CAPA and site testing regimes.
/n /n The Person We Want /n /n
- Prevention-first mindset.
/n
- Exceptional organisation and documentation discipline.
/n
- Strong root-cause problem solving.
/n
- Calm and emotionally steady under pressure.
/n
- Strong site presence and execution understanding.
/n
- Able to coach contractors and site teams rather than simply police them.
/n
- Explicit communication and strong stakeholder management.
/n
- Kannada and/or Hindi communication skills are an advantage.
/n /n This Role Is NOT /n A post-completion inspection desk. /n A blame-and-penalty enforcement role. /n A paperwork-only QA/QC position. /n You will be expected to live where the work happens — on the site. /n What Success Looks Like After 12 Months /n You will have helped create a quality system where: /n Quality standards are established before execution. /n Benchmark samples are approved before volume work begins. /n Recurring defects are designed out of the process. /n Rework is measurably reduced. /n Handover snag lists are significantly shorter. /n Every critical quality decision is documented and traceable. /n Join Us /n If you believe quality is a process, not an inspection, and you want to build a construction quality culture rather than simply monitor one, we'd like to hear from you. /n Location: Bengaluru /n Experience: 8–12 Years /n Industry: Real Estate / Construction /n Role: Quality Manager
