Foliage™ Architecture undertakes projects ranging from renovation and restoration to residential, mass housing, commercial, institutional, and hospitality design. The multidisciplinary team includes architects, planners, landscape specialists, project planners, engineers, and site implementation experts.
Role Description The Project Architect will lead and coordinate architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring design intent, technical quality, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities include developing design solutions, preparing drawings and documentation, reviewing submittals, and collaborating with consultants, engineers, and site teams. The role involves overseeing project schedules, managing resources, and supporting sustainable design strategies aligned with Foliage™ Architecture’s principles.
The Project
Architect will regularly participate in client meetings, conduct site visits,
and resolve design and construction issues in coordination with the project team. This is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong architecture and design skills, including conceptualization, space planning, and technical detailing.
- Candidates should possess project management skills, including coordination, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Candidates should possess experience with submittals and construction documentation, including review and quality control.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of sustainable design principles; LEED or equivalent green building experience is an advantage.
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; licensure or eligibility for licensure is preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM platforms, Adobe Suite) and strong visual communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience delivering built projects, ideally including residential or commercial work in comparable climates.
