About Company /n /n An emerging fintech platform has been quietly reshaping the capital /n /n /n /n About the Role /n • We are looking for a qualified and experienced CA Inter / Chartered Accountant with 3–7 years of relevant experience to manage taxation, statutory compliances and day-to-day accounting activities for the group companies. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in GST, TDS and other statutory compliances, along with a good understanding of accounting, reconciliations and treasury operations. /n • Experience in an NBFC, financial services or fintech organisation will be preferred. /n GST &
• Indirect Taxation /n • Computation, review and timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. /n • Preparation and filing of GST Annual Return (GSTR-9) and other applicable GST compliances. /n • Preparation and review of GST/ITC reconciliations with books of accounts and GST portal data. /n • Reconciliation of ITC with GSTR-2B and follow-up with vendors for missing or incorrect invoices/ITC. /n • Coordination with vendors for correction of GST-related discrepancies and ensuring timely compliance. /n • Handling GST notices, queries and correspondence received from tax authorities, wherever applicable. /n TDS &
• Other Direct Tax Compliances /n • Review and validation of data for quarterly TDS returns – Form 24Q and Form 26Q – for all group companies. /n • Computation and timely filing of quarterly TDS returns. /n • Reconciliation of TDS payable, deductions and challans with books and TRACES. /n • Identification and resolution of TDS defaults, short deductions, interest and late filing issues on the TRACES portal. /n • Coordination for correction statements and resolution of TDS-related discrepancies.
/n • Handling and responding to notices, communications and queries received from the Income Tax Department and other statutory authorities. /n Professional Tax, LWF &
• Other Statutory Compliances /n • Computation, filing and payment of Professional Tax (PT) returns. /n • Computation, filing and payment of Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) and other applicable statutory dues. /n • Ensuring timely completion of all applicable periodic statutory compliances. /n Accounting &
• Finance /n • Handling day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. /n • Preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS). /n • Reconciliation of various ledger accounts, including vendor, customer, statutory and bank accounts. /n • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities. /n • Supporting preparation of MIS and other management reports. /n • Assisting in treasury operations, including monitoring of bank balances, fund movements, investments and related reconciliations. /n • Coordination with auditors, consultants, banks and other external stakeholders as required. /n • Good understanding of financial reporting, consolidation and inter-company reconciliations. /n • Preparation and review of quarterly standalone and consolidated financial statements for the group companies.
/n • Preparation of monthly MIS and management reports, including analysis of key financial and operational metrics. /n Tax Notices &
• Departmental Matters /n • Monitor and coordinate responses to notices and communications received from GST, Income Tax, TRACES and other statutory authorities. /n • Maintain proper documentation and records of tax filings, reconciliations, notices and responses. /n • Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors, wherever required. /n Candidate Profile /n • CA Inter / Chartered Accountant with approximately 3–7 years of relevant experience. /n • Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and statutory compliances. /n • Valuable understanding of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-2B, TDS 24Q/26Q and TRACES. /n • Practical experience in GST and ITC reconciliation and vendor follow-up. /n • Good knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting processes. /n • Working knowledge of BRS, ledger reconciliation and treasury operations. /n • Experience in handling tax notices and departmental correspondence will be an added advantage. /n • Prior experience in an NBFC, fintech or financial services organisation is preferred. /n • Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills. /n • Good communication and coordination skills. /n • Ability to independently manage multiple statutory compliances and meet strict deadlines. /n • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems. /n Key Attributes /n • The candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, deadline-driven and capable of independently managing taxation and statutory compliance activities while also supporting the broader finance and accounting function.
