NAbout the Role

nPresidency School is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Institution (HOI) to provide academic leadership with a strong focus on pedagogy, curriculum implementation, teaching-learning practices, and overall school development.

NThe ideal candidate will be an accomplished academic leader with a strong understanding of modern pedagogical practices, curriculum frameworks, teacher development, and academic excellence.

NKey Responsibilities

- Provide strategic academic and pedagogical leadership to the school.

- Drive the effective implementation of the school's academic vision, curriculum, and learning objectives.
N
- Lead and strengthen teaching-learning methodologies and classroom practices across grades.
N
- Mentor, guide, and develop teachers to improve instructional effectiveness and student outcomes.
N
- Conduct regular classroom observations, academic reviews, and teacher feedback sessions.
N
- Develop and implement academic improvement plans based on learning outcomes and school performance data.
N
- Ensure effective curriculum planning, lesson planning, assessments, remediation, and enrichment programmes.
N
- Promote experiential, inquiry-based, activity-based, and student-centric learning.
N
- Lead teacher training, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), workshops, and academic mentoring initiatives.
N
- Monitor student learning outcomes and implement appropriate interventions wherever required.
N
- Collaborate with Academic Heads, Coordinators, teachers, counsellors, and other stakeholders to ensure academic consistency.
N
- Encourage the use of technology and innovative pedagogical practices in teaching and learning.
N




- Ensure academic processes and practices are aligned with CBSE/Board requirements and institutional standards.
N
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and academic excellence.
N
- Support the Principal/Management in strategic academic planning and institutional development.
N
- Maintain strong engagement with parents and address academic concerns professionally.
N
- Contribute to the overall development of students beyond academics, including 21st-century skills, values, life skills, and holistic development.

nCandidate Profile

N

n
- Master's Degree in Education or a relevant subject;

B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred.

N
- 15+ years of experiencein school education, with substantial experience in academic/pedagogical leadership.
N
- Prior experience as Principal / Vice Principal / Head of School / Academic Head / Curriculum Head / HOI will be preferred.
N
- Strong expertise in pedagogy, curriculum planning, assessment, teacher development, and academic quality management.
N
- Proven ability to lead and mentor large teaching teams.
N
- Strong knowledge of ICSE curriculum and school academic processes.
N
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
N
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
N
- Ability to drive change, manage stakeholders, and build a high-performing academic culture.
