NJob Description
nPresidency School is looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated PGT – Physics to teach Senior Secondary students and contribute to academic excellence. The ideal candidate should have robust subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex Physics concepts simple, engaging and application-oriented.
NKey Responsibilities

- Teach Physics for Classes VIII, XI, X XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
N
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging and student-centric lessons.
N
- Develop strong conceptual understanding, numerical problem-solving and analytical skills among students.
N
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers and other teaching-learning resources.
N
- Conduct Physics practicals and laboratory sessions in accordance with safety guidelines.
N
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations and internal assessments.
N
- Conduct regular tests, assessments and remedial classes to monitor and improve student performance.
N
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and doubt-clearing sessions.
N
- Use innovative teachingmethodologies, smart classroom tools, simulations and digital resources to enhance learning.
N
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance and assessments.
N
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents when required.
N
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events and academic activities.
N
- Encourage students to participate in science exhibitions, Olympiads, projects and other co-curricular activities.
N
- Collaborate with the academic team in curriculum planning and implementation.
N
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment.

nCandidate Profile
N
n
- M.Sc. / Postgraduate Degree in Physics from a recognized university.
N
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per applicable school requirements.
N
- Relevant experience teaching Physics at the Senior Secondary level
N
- Experience in a CBSE school will be preferred.
N
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.
N
- Excellent communicationand classroom management skills.
N
- Strong conceptual clarity and ability to explain complex Physics concepts effectively.
N
- Experience in Physics practicals and laboratory activities.
N
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
N
- Passion for teaching with a student-focused approach.
N
- Candidates with experience in Board Examination and competitive exam
