Job DescriptionSikich is seeking a Tax Associate with 0-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in US GAAP general accounting. The candidate will be collecting tax forms and tracking client paperwork, preparing tax returns, and producing tax reports.

- Manage project deliverables and client engagements.

- Prepare and self-reviewall types of tax returns.

- Assist Experienced Associate drive deliverables.
N
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
N
- Manage and maintain thecompany's tax database.
N
- Ensure to comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.

- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
N
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
N

nRequirements for Successful Candidate

N

- Bachelor's degreein accounting, Master's Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience.
N
- Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (or progress towards certification) – preferred.
N
- Skilled at building client rapport and working relationships.
N
- Self-motivated with robust work ethic.
N
- Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
N
- Knowledge of QuickBooksTM and other US accounting systems.
N
- Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
N
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
