Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
NThe Assistant Manager will work as an independent contributor, owning end-to-end Competitive Intelligence delivery for US-based clients. The role requires working predominantly in EST-aligned hours to support ongoing delivery, client calls, ad-hoc requests, and conference coverage during the US business day.
NThe individual will liaise directly with clients, manage delivery expectations, and develop client-ready insights and recommendations.
NROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Independently manage CI delivery across competitor monitoring, landscape assessments, conference coverage, and ad-hoc requests
N
- Work in EST-aligned hours to support US client delivery and time-sensitive requests
N
- Liaise directly with clients and independently participate in or lead client calls
N
- Support conference coverage, including pre-conference planning, live/in-conference reporting, and post-conference analysis
N
- Translate client requirements into clear KITs/KIQs and aligned deliverables
N
- Develop client-ready reports, presentations, alerts, and competitive landscapes
N
- Synthesize information into insights, implications, and recommendations
N
- Leverage relevant databases, research sources,
and AI-enabled tools
N
- Quality-check outputs for accuracy, relevance, and client readiness
N
- Manage multiple priorities and timelines independently
N
- Support onboarding and coaching of junior team members as required

nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGEAND SKILLS

- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/life sciences Competitive Intelligence experience
N
- Willingness to work predominantly in EST-aligned hours
N
- Oncology experience is a MUST
N
- Strong experience managing CI deliverables independently and interacting directly with clients
N
- Experience in competitor monitoring, conference intelligence, and landscape assessments
N
- Solid understanding ofpharmaceutical clinical and commercial dynamics
N
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and insight-generation skills
N
- Proficiency with pharmaceutical databases covering clinical, commercial, regulatory data and scientific literature
N
- Ability to use AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and deliverable quality
N
- Strong QC, prioritization, and communication skills
N
- Excellent written and verbal English
