THE OPPORTUNITY Recykal is building the government-relations function for advocacy across its circular economy portfolio. Sustainability and Circular Economy has taken the centre stage, however an evolving stream with the regulators and administration levels. The goals of circular economy and resource efficiency are still a compliance mechanism and require further policy framework interventions.

We're now looking for a senior leader to institutionalise advocacy efforts. WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW - Ownership of government-relations strategy, not a "liaison" title.

- A trust-building role, not a sales role — discretion and political non-alignment are core.
- A national role spanning multiple States. THE MANDATE Own Recykal's government-relations strategy end-to-end across every target State and every circular-economy mandate and build Recykal's national standing as subject matter expert.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Strategy & sequencing — own State-prioritisation nationally, based on political calendars and regulatory risk.

- Function build — build a lean State-liaison team and put institutional record-keeping in place, across all circular-economy mandates.




- Representation — represent Recykal at various committees and stakeholder consultations, with impeccable discretion.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A government-affairs leader;

former government, multi-lateral, bi-lateral official presently working on advocacy or government-relations work.

- Proven ability to build access, with the patience to sustain relationships through deferrals and slipping timelines.
- Regulatory literacy — can hold a technical conversation on Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency and Sustainability .
- Politically non-aligned;

absolute integrity. HOW WE'LL MEASURE SUCCESS - State Approvals : Notifications, approvals and funding sanctions secured across DRS and EPR tracks.

- Govt Relationships : Depth and reliability across Excise, Environment, Finance, CM.
- National Standing : Recognition and access built with the PMO and MoEFCC.
- Function Build : State-liaison team built, institutional record-keeping in place.
- Discretion & Trust : Clean track record, zero leaks, robust reference checks.
