Consultant, Base Risk Assessment (P2)

Position Summary

The Base Risk Assessment Consultant is responsible for supporting the execution, governance, and continuous enhancement of Northern Trust's Base Risk Assessment (BRA) Oversight Program. The consultant serves as a key contributor to the oversight, review,



and challenge of numerous base risk assessments, ensuring consistent application of enterprise risk methodologies, maintenance of assessment data, and delivery of meaningful risk insights that support executive decision-making and regulatory expectations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a solid understanding of enterprise risk management principles within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Base Risk Assessment Oversight Program Execution
- Support the execution of the enterprise-wide Base Risk Assessment program across Business Units, Corporate Functions, and Significant Legal Entities.
- Coordinate annual and periodic evaluations of base risk assessments to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and procedures.
