Key Responsibilities

- Lead architectural design and planning for public spaces, high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, commercial, institutional, and large-scale building projects.
- Develop and guide master planning, site planning, zoning, circulation, massing, built-form, spatial organization, and architectural design strategies.
- Drive projects from concept design through schematic design, design development, tender documentation, construction documentation, and site coordination stages.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, senior architects, BIM teams, consultants, and design coordinators to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Prepare, review, and present design concepts, technical proposals, design narratives, reports, drawings, and presentation material for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, façade, landscape, interiors, sustainability, fire and life safety, BIM, planning, contracts, procurement, and execution teams.
- Coordinate façade design intent, façade systems, materials, performance requirements, interfaces, mock-ups, and technical details in collaboration with façade consultants and specialist vendors.
- Collaborate with international design consultants, specialist architects, façade experts, and global technical teams to align design intent, local requirements, execution feasibility, and project deliverables.
- Ensure integrated design coordination across disciplines and resolve design clashes, interface issues, technical queries, and constructability challenges.
- Manage client interactions, consultant workshops, stakeholder review meetings, design presentations, and approval processes.
- Drive design decisions with focus on functionality, aesthetics, statutory compliance, constructability, cost effectiveness, value engineering, and project timelines.
- Review architectural drawings, BIM models, specifications, material proposals, design calculations, area statements, and technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local building regulations, statutory norms, NBC provisions, accessibility requirements, fire safety norms, and project-specific design standards.

- Support business development and tender-stage submissions through design inputs, technical write-ups, concept presentations, scope definition, and design strategy.
- Monitor design progress, identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive closure of design deliverables in line with project milestones.
- Drive digitalisation initiatives including BIM-based design coordination, model-based reviews, digital collaboration platforms, design automation, standardization of workflows, and improved information management across project teams.
- Coordinate architectural design requirements for PPVC, precast, modular construction, DfMA approaches, lifting and installation constraints, module planning, interface details, tolerance coordination, and site execution requirements.
- Promote innovation, digital design workflows, BIM-based coordination, standardization, sustainable design principles, and best practices across the architecture team.

Required Qualifications And Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, or related field will be an added advantage.
- 15 to 18 years of professional experience in architectural design, design management, and multidisciplinary coordination.
