Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Career Counselor role based in Noida.

The Career

Counselor will provide individualized guidance to students, helping them explore academic programs, understand career pathways, and make informed decisions about their education and professional goals.

Responsibilities include conducting 1:1 counseling sessions, assessing student interests and skills, recommending suitable programs, and assisting with application and admission processes. The role also involves maintaining accurate counseling records, collaborating with mentors and internal teams,



and contributing to workshops or webinars on career development topics.

Counselor will be expected to offer unbiased, student-centric advice that aligns with LearningShala’s commitment to transparent, data-driven guidance.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling, with the ability to guide learners across diverse academic and career options.
- Knowledge of Career Development and Career Management principles, including career planning, goal setting, and long-term progression strategies.
- Solid Communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex information clearly, listen actively, and build trust with students and families.
- Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience working with students or early-career professionals in an educational or counseling setting; familiarity with online and distance-learning programs is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple counseling cases, and use digital tools or CRM systems to track student progress.
- Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to providing non-judgmental, inclusive, and data-informed guidance.
