The company is now expanding its portfolio in commercial and institutional construction, interior fit-outs, retail projects, and urban infrastructure. /n We are currently looking for an Interior Billing Engineer to support the billing and quantity management for a Haldiram commercial store project, with responsibility for accurate measurement, contractor/vendor billing, BOQ management, and project cost documentation.

Role Description/n The Interior Billing Engineer will be responsible for handling the complete billing and quantity-related activities for an interior fit-out/commercial construction project. /n The role will involve measurement of executed work, preparation and verification of contractor/vendor bills, BOQ management, rate verification, quantity reconciliation, and coordination with the site execution team. /n The candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Interior Contractors, Vendors, Quantity Surveyors, and Accounts/Finance Team to ensure that all work executed at site is properly measured, documented, and billed. Key Responsibilities1. Site Measurement & Quantity Verification/n /n

- Take and verify measurements of completed interior and civil works at site.

/n

- Maintain detailed measurement sheets and Measurement Books (MBs) wherever applicable.

/n

- Verify actual quantities executed against approved drawings and BOQs.

/n

- Cross-check measurements submitted by contractors and subcontractors.

/n

- Identify quantity variations, excess work, and deviations from the approved scope.

/n 2. Contractor & Vendor Billing/n /n

- Prepare, check, and certify contractor and subcontractor bills for interior and construction works.

/n

- Verify bills against approved BOQs, work orders, purchase orders, drawings, and site measurements.

/n

- Check applicable rates, quantities, deductions, taxes, retention, advances, and other contractual terms.

/n

- Ensure that bills are supported by proper measurement sheets and required documentation.

/n





- Coordinate with contractors/vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.

/n 3. BOQ & Rate Analysis/n /n

- Review and maintain project BOQs for interior and construction works.

/n

- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.

/n

- Perform rate analysis for new or extra items wherever required.

/n

- Identify and document variation orders, extra items, and substituted items.

/n

- Compare actual quantities with BOQ quantities and highlight major deviations.

Interior Works

Billing/n The candidate should be comfortable understanding and billing various interior works, such as: /n /n

/n 5. Drawing & Documentation/n /n

- Read and interpret architectural, interior, civil, electrical, and MEP drawings.

- Compare drawings with actual site execution.

/n

- Maintain proper records of approved drawings, BOQs, measurements, work orders, and bills.

/n

- Maintain a systematic record of running bills and final bills.

/n

- Support preparation of project billing statements and quantity reconciliation reports.

/n 6. Material & Cost Reconciliation/n /n

- Assist in reconciliation of major materials used at site against executed quantities.

/n

- Track material consumption wherever required for billing and cost control.

/n

- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for material-related billing documentation.

/n

- Identify abnormal consumption or quantity variations and report them to the Project Manager.

/n 7. Coordination & Cost Control/n /n

- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Contractors, Vendors, Accounts and Finance Team.

/n

- Provide regular updates on billing status, pending bills,



variations, and quantity issues.

/n

- Support project cost monitoring by comparing BOQ quantities, executed quantities, and billed quantities.

/n

- Ensure timely submission and processing of project bills.

/n Required Qualifications/n /n

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

/n

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in billing/quantity surveying, preferably in interior fit-out, retail, commercial, hospitality, or construction projects.

/n

- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis, measurement, and contractor billing.

/n

- Experience handling interior and finishing work measurements and billing.

/n

- Ability to understand architectural, interior, civil, electrical, and MEP drawings.

/n

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

/n

- Experience with construction billing software or ERP systems will be an advantage.

/n

- Good numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

/n

- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

/n

- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, site teams, and management.

/n

- Willingness to work on-site and regularly conduct physical measurements.
