Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering Expert / Azure Data Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power BI.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Pipelines, Notebooks, Spark, Dataflows Gen2, Delta Lake, Shortcuts and Direct Lake.

Strong experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and modern data platform design.

Hands-on expertise in PySpark, Spark SQL, T-SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, batch processing, incremental loads, CDC and SCD Type 1/2.

Strong knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, fact/dimension design, data quality, validation, reconciliation and metadata-driven pipelines.

Good hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps,



Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Purview.

Strong Power BI expertise including DAX, Power Query/M, Star Schema, Semantic Models, Direct Lake, Import, DirectQuery, RLS, Incremental Refresh and performance optimization.

Experience with data governance, security, monitoring, lineage, CI/CD, deployment pipelines and workload optimization.

Strong understanding of Lakehouse vs Data Warehouse architecture, scalable data solutions, performance, reliability and cost optimization.

Ability to provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, code reviews, stakeholder collaboration and mentoring.

A senior Data Engineer / Data Architect with 12–15 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Power BI and up-to-date data architecture, with proven experience delivering enterprise-grade data platforms.
