nThe Opportunity:

nWe have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join Zurich as a (Senior) Web Developer, building modern web applications that serve customers across the Asia Pacific Region.

nAs part of the Zurich Edge team, you will contribute to the development of an end-to-end digital-native insurance platform that enables new distribution models. This platform is designed to support high levels of automation and straight-through processing across the entire insurance value chain.

nKey Responsibilities:

n

- Develop a deep understanding of business requirements and build scalable, high-quality web applications.
n
- Design and develop responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript.
n
- Build modern web applications using Next.js or React.js.
n




- Integrate frontend applications with backend services using REST APIs and JSON.
n
- Implement efficient state management for web applications.
n
- Develop and execute unit tests (Jest) and support integration testing.
n
- Deploy applications across multiple environments.
n
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and defect analysis.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend applications with backend services.
n
- Develop reusable UI components and shared functions.
n
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and secure code.
n
- Support AWS CI/CD processes, including configuration management, automated builds, and unit testing.
n
- Participate in occasional travel, as required.
n

nRequired Skills & Experience:

nTechnical Skills:

- Experience developing applications using Next.js or React.js.
n
- Strong experience with State Management.
n
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON.

nExtensive knowledge of:

- Experience with Application Security.

- Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance is highly preferred.
