Role Description The Video Editor role at Elevate Productions is a full time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into polished videos, selecting and arranging clips, integrating audio, and ensuring continuity and narrative flow. The role involves collaborating closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to understand project objectives and translate them into compelling visual stories.

The Video

Editor will perform color correction and grading, add motion graphics and basic visual effects,



and prepare final deliverables in appropriate formats for various platforms. Additional tasks include maintaining organized project files, adhering to brand guidelines and deadlines, and contributing creative ideas to enhance video quality and audience engagement.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with the ability to manage the full post-production process.
Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with a keen eye for visual consistency, tone, and mood.
Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity within video content.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
Solid understanding of sound design basics, formats, frame rates, and delivery standards for digital and social platforms.
Solid attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative creative processes.
Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
