Jagran New Media is hiring Video Editor for its News & Info Team.

Job Responsibilities

● Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct format.

● Deliverables: Corporate videos, testimonial videos, commercial ads, DVCs, TVCs, event videos, explainer videos, social media reels and motion graphics films.
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film with dialogues and

graphics.
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
Create rough and final cuts.
Understanding of Sound recording, Music compositing, and special effects
Improve video and sound quality using various video software
Able to work in a quick-paced environment and have strong organizational skills to manage

multiple projects simultaneously.

Pre requisite
2 - 4 years of work experience as a Video Editor in Media Industry.
Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, After

Effects and Final Cut, Audition, Capcut,



Davinci Resolve)
Knowledge of production and cinematography experience
Demonstrable video editing ability with a robust portfolio
Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
Understanding of video formats, compression techniques and format.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.
Thorough knowledge of timing and continuity.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry's best practices

to maximize efficiency.
