About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Watch Designer who can translate ideas into distinctive, premium timepieces. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of watch design, proportions, materials, finishes and manufacturing, along with a refined sense of luxury aesthetics.
You will work closely with the product, design and manufacturing teams to take watch concepts from initial ideation to production.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptualise and design premium watches aligned with Rotoris' brand DNA.
Develop designs for dials, cases, hands, bezels, crowns, straps/bracelets and other watch elements.
Create detailed hand sketches, 2D layouts and 3D CAD models/renders.
Develop new collections, limited editions and product variations.
Research global trends in luxury watches, fashion,
materials and finishes.
Select and define materials, colours, textures, finishes and CMF.
Ensure designs are practical, functional and manufacturing-feasible.
Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors during prototyping, sampling and production.
Review samples and refine designs based on technical and aesthetic requirements.
Maintain design specifications and documentation throughout the product development process.
Ensure consistency across the Rotoris design language and product portfolio.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in watch design, product design, industrial design, jewellery or premium accessories.
Prior experience in watch/horology design will be strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of watch components, proportions and construction.
Excellent sketching, ideation and visualisation skills.
Solid aesthetic sense with exceptional attention to detail.
