As a Gen AI Engineer, you'll design and build GenAI/RAG applications and agentic solutions on Databricks (including Agent Bricks), work with open-source RAG frameworks, and contribute to the team's broader AI strategy and roadmap, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver reliable solutions for fleet and shore-based operations.

Your Role: Make an Impact

In this role, you'll be part of a Data & AI team, building and scaling GenAI, RAG, and agentic solutions end- to-end.



You'll work closely with senior engineers on architecture decisions and help shape the team's strategic direction on emerging AI tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain GenAI/RAG applications on Databricks (Unity Catalog, vector search, model serving, Knowledge Assistant-style architectures)
Build agentic solutions using Databricks Agent Bricks and related tooling to automate multi-step reasoning and decision workflows
Build and optimize RAG pipelines using open-source frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar), including chunking, embeddings, and retrieval tuning
Design and refine system prompts and agent guidelines for accuracy and reliability across multi-turn interactions
Monitor and improve model/agent performance - context retention, latency, and cost optimization
Set up and run evaluations for agentic/LLM solutions to continuously measure quality, accuracy, and reliability
Set up observability (tracing, logging, metrics) for agentic applications and APIs, preferably using Op
