Role Description The VFX Paint Artist will work in office in Chennai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with the compositing and roto teams to deliver high-quality paint and cleanup work. Day-to-day responsibilities include removing unwanted elements, fixing artifacts, restoring backgrounds, and performing beauty and continuity fixes using industry-standard tools. The artist will interpret shot requirements, follow established pipelines, and maintain consistency in quality and timing across sequences.

The role involves reviewing feedback from supervisors,



making timely revisions, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of paint work into the final VFX output.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Paint and Painting skills for cleanup, restoration, and seamless integration of visual elements.
Candidates should possess solid Art and Animation skills to understand composition, movement, and visual storytelling in VFX shots.
Candidates should possess explicit Communication skills to collaborate effectively with supervisors, artists, and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in industry-standard VFX tools (e.g., Nuke, Photoshop, Silhouette, or similar paint/roto software) is highly beneficial.
Relevant experience as a VFX Paint or Cleanup Artist in feature films, TV, or streaming content is preferred.
Ability to work in office in Chennai, meet deadlines under production schedules, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
A diploma or degree in Animation, VFX, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is advantageous.
