We are scaling rapidly across India and are now building the leadership team for our next phase of growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Head of Retention & Customer Lifecycle to build and own the retention engine for VedaMandir. This is not a CRM campaign-management role. We’re looking for someone who can deeply understand why customers transact, why they return, why they churn, and what we need to build across the customer journey to significantly increase repeat behaviour and LTV. You will own retention across our entire ecosystem and work closely with Product, Growth, Marketing, Creative, Business and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

Build the overall retention and customer lifecycle strategy for VedaMandir
Drive repeat transactions, purchase frequency, reactivation, cross-sell and LTV
Build customer segmentation and lifecycle journeys across recent,



first-time, repeat, high-value, dormant and churned customers
Identify behavioural patterns across customers, products, regions, languages and occasions
Develop and run experiments across communication, offers, journeys, product experience and personalisation
Partner closely with Product and Business teams to address structural reasons for churn and improve the overall customer experience
Build retention frameworks and dashboards around cohorts, repeat rate, frequency, churn, reactivation and LTV
Develop the retention organisation, processes and capabilities as the business scales
Build strategies that work across different Indian markets and eventually international audiences

Qualifications

Minimum of 10+ years of experience across Retention, CRM, Lifecycle, Customer Growth, Growth Marketing or related functions
Proven experience owning retention for a large-scale consumer business
