Role Description The Structural Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings and documentation to support architectural and engineering design work. Daily tasks include creating and updating technical drawings, shop drawings, and structural layouts based on design specifications and engineering calculations. The role involves coordinating with structural engineers and architects, interpreting design requirements, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and codes.
The Structural Draftsman will also assist in maintaining drawing records, revising plans as projects evolve, and supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows as required. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid skills in technical drawing and shop drawings for structural and architectural projects having experience more then 2 years.
Candidates should possess skills in architectural drawings and structural engineering concepts to interpret and translate design inputs accurately.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ZWCad or similar) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
ITI, Diploma or degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
Solid attention to detail, ability to read and understand engineering and architectural plans, and effective communication skills.
