To lead the accounting function of Green SM India by ensuring compliance with local and international financial reporting standards, managing tax obligations, supporting business model implementation, and delivering accurate financial reports aligned with IFRS and corporate requirements
1.Business Model Control
Ensure accounting practices align with Green SM’s business model and strategic objectives.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support operational decisions.
Collaborate with business units to ensure accurate cost allocation and profitability analysis.
Support financial modeling and scenario planning for recent initiatives.
2.Taxation
Ensure full compliance with India tax laws and regulations.
Oversee timely and accurate filing of VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and other statutory returns.
Liaise with external tax consultants and government agencies (e.g., BIR).
Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risks.
3.Local Accounting Standards Compliance




Ensure financial records comply with India Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting documentation.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory audits.
5.Leadership & Governance
Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies.
Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
Represent Green SM India in financial discussions with auditors, regulators, and HO
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Robust knowledge of PFRS, IFRS, and India tax regulations.
Experience in multinational and transportation/logistics preferred.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
