Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for identifying and nurturing current business opportunities, generating leads, and building long-term relationships with clients and partners in the event management sector. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, prospecting and qualifying leads, managing inquiries, preparing proposals, and following up to close deals. The specialist will collaborate closely with the event planning team to understand service offerings, align client needs with solutions, and ensure smooth handover from sales to operations. The role also involves maintaining a robust presence in local networks, attending meetings or events as needed, and contributing to sales targets and overall business growth.

Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify opportunities and understand client needs.




Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage prospects, manage client relationships, and represent the brand professionally.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, evaluate performance metrics, and support data-informed decisions.
Candidates should ideally have experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within events, hospitality, or related industries.
Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area, with the ability to travel locally for client meetings and events.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and basic digital communication platforms will be beneficial.
