Jr Project Coordinator in water treatment industry

Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, vendors, and internal teams.

Roles & Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical and system-related issues.
Prepare and maintain daily progress reports.
Handle subcontractor and client billing, including reconciliation and authorization.
Ensure accurate entry of bills and forward approved invoices to accounts for payment processing.
Prepare and issue debit notes for recovery related to rework or faulty workmanship as per site recommendations.
Maintain complete billing records and measurement books.
Study tender specifications and BOQs, and extract quantities from drawings.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and client requirements.
Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, and cost variations.
Coordinate with site engineers for timely submission of billing documents.




Assist in preparation of variation orders, extra item justifications, and claims.
Maintain billing logs, payment trackers, and pending approval records.
Support finance/accounts team with required billing and payment documentation.
Ensure timely submission and approval of documents from client/consultant.
Maintain document control systems for site and head office coordination.
Coordinate with site engineers for updated progress and as-built information.

Documents & Billing (Client & Site)

Project Documentation
Prepare, compile, and maintain all project-related documents including:
Work completion reports
Daily/weekly/monthly progress reports
Measurement sheets and site records
Drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals
Ensure timely submission and approval of documents from client/consultant.
Maintain document control systems for site and head office coordination.
