Responsibilities:
Develop innovative product concepts and detailed designs for current product development.
Create 2D drawings and 3D models ensuring technical feasibility, manufacturability, cost optimization, durability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into production-ready products.
Conduct market and product research to identify trends, customer requirements, and new prospects.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during product development and launch stages.
Design and review prototypes, perform testing,
and finalize designs for mass production.
Ensure compliance with DFM, DFMA, DFMEA, design control, and stage-gate processes.
Desired Skill Set:
A good grasp of engineering and design principles.
Core experience in Product design (Plastic, sheet metal design, material handling equipment design, etc.)
Knowledge in GD&T;, Stack-up analysis.
Good knowledge of any of the 3D modeling software (SolidWorks / Pro-E etc.).
Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.
Good understanding of color science and combinations.
Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.
