Mold Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of molds to ensure smooth production.
Tool Assembly & Fabrication: Assemble and test recent injection molds, ensuring accuracy in cores, cavities, slides, and ejector systems.
Machining Operations: Guide conventional and CNC machinery (milling, turning, surface grinding, EDM, wire EDM) operators to manufacture precise tool components.
Troubleshooting: Analyze tool-related production issues (flashing, sinking, short shots) and implement rectifications.
Tool Trials: Assist in current mold development and troubleshooting trials.
Drawing Interpretation: Interpret complex 2D/3D blueprints, sketches, and CAD models (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
Tool Room Operations: Manage tool room documentation, such as tool issue/return registers and preventive maintenance schedules
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma in Tool & Die (DPMT/DPT), or NTTF/GTTC training preferred
3 to 6 years in Injection Mold manufacturing or maintenance
Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work in teams, and valuable communication skills (Telugu and Hindi preferred)
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
