Qualifications
Postgraduate qualification in public health, a health science or related discipline (PhD in a public health related field preferred)
At least 3 years experience in research coordination, proposal support or a comparable academic-administrative role
Solid academic writing, communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple deadlines
Working familiarity with research ethics and institutional approval processes
Experience supporting interdisciplinary or multi-institutional collaborations
Responsibilities
Support adjunct faculty in developing concept notes and grant proposals, and facilitate timely institutional submission.
Coordinate seed grant calls and communicate extramural research prospects
Track project milestones, deliverables and reporting deadlines; coordinate investigators and partner institutions
Organise training programmes, faculty interactions sessions and communications and website
Liaise with the Grants Coordinator on budgets; organise faculty interaction sessions.
