Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
Source and secure freight for available trucks
Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and customers
Manage shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time performance
Resolve load issues, service failures, and billing discrepancies
Maintain accurate records in TMS and internal systems
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of transportation regulations and market trends
Proficiency in load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and TMS systems
Meet or exceed monthly revenue and margin targets
Skills:
Sales and customer service orientation
Solid problem-solving ability
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
