Role & responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Implement unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement current features.
Contribute to architectural decisions and help to improve our development processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.
Stay up to date with the latest android technologies and trends.
Participate in the CI/CD process, ensuring smooth and productive releases.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in developing Android apps with a history of launching successful projects
Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns,
object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologies
Solid communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence the broader engineering team and understand their points of view
Kotlin and Java programming skills
Understanding of the Android SDK and Performance monitoring tools
Experience developing and delivering using Agile methodologies
Partner with product, design, QA and fellow engineers to determine the best way to meet business requirements
Review code for others on the team and provide thoughtful feedback
Proactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the app
Participate in technical discussions with fellow engineers Knowledge in jetpack compose is plus
