Non-Litigation:
Advise business teams on regulatory and legal requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to:
IT and Technology Agreements (Software Licensing, Cloud Services, IT Outsourcing, AMC).
Vendor and Service Agreements (Procurement, Facility Management, Consulting).
Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
Regulatory and Compliance-related Contracts (as per SEBI guidelines).
Ensure contracts are aligned with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in contractual terms (e.g., indemnity, limitation of liability, IP rights, termination clauses).
Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Risk, and Business teams to incorporate technical and operational requirements.
Maintain contract templates and playbooks for standardization and efficiency.
Support contract lifecycle management, including execution, renewal, and compliance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with SEBI, and other regulatory guidelines associated with agreements.
Conduct legal risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Litigation:




Manage and oversee all litigation matters involving the organization, including civil, criminal, regulatory, and arbitration/ODR cases.
Coordinate with external counsels and law firms for effective representation in courts and tribunals.
Prepare and review pleadings, affidavits, written statements, and other legal documents for litigation.
Ensure timely filing of cases, responses, and compliance with court directions.
Maintain litigation MIS and dashboards for tracking case status and deadlines.
Handle regulatory notices, inquiries, and investigations from authorities like SEBI, RBI, etc.
Conduct legal research to strengthen arguments and ensure compliance with evolving laws.
Liaise with internal teams.

Advisory:
Provide legal advice and opinions in alignment with compliance requirements.
Advise on legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations impacting the organization.
