Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
Develop design concepts and produce detailed engineering drawings.
Ensure designs meet manufacturability, durability, cost, and performance criteria.
Lead and participate in design reviews to resolve technical challenges.
Apply knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and industrial standards (ANSI, JIS, DIN, etc.).
Contribute to tooling, fixture, and jig design (preferred).
Support manufacturing, production, and assembly processes (preferred).
Provide hands-on support in prototyping and testing when required.
Skills Required:
Solid foundation in engineering mechanics, strength of materials, and machine design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modelling software
In-depth knowledge of sheet metal, machine, or material handling equipment design.
Familiarity with GD&T; and tolerance analysis techniques.
Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
