Key Responsibilities:
Lead/support the development of new medical devices and product concepts from feasibility through prototype and product launch.
Develop and evaluate prototypes, samples to achieve required product performance.
Support Design Verification & Validation (DV&V;) activities, including preparation of test plans, test reports, and technical documentation.
Conduct product testing, performance evaluation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis during the development cycle.
Support DFMEA, risk assessment, design reviews, and product risk-management activities.
Manage product development changes through ECR/ECN and ensure proper implementation and documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies:
Solid understanding of medical device/product development lifecycle.
Valuable knowledge of prototype development, product testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
Understanding of DFMEA, risk assessment, DFM/DFA, GD&T;, and tolerance analysis.
