Duties & Responsibilities
Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the automated test cases
Debug to troubleshoot and fix the issues that arise during the automation process.
Participate in the sprint planning / grooming sessions to understand the requirements and achieve
positive automation test coverage.
Managing the changes and executing automation tests to ensure quality of the application under test.
Collaborate with the team and work towards achieving the release goals.
Learn new tools, frameworks, languages, methodologies and adopt best practices.
Work with the QA/BA team to convert the business requirements to automation cases.
Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy.
Apply valuable coding practices, such as modularity, readability, documentation, and version control.
Configuring Automation Test Workplace and maintain the same.
Perform automated suite execution as planned and as and when needed.
Defect reporting and tracking to closure.
Maintain the automation suite to make it consistent and reliable.
Train and mentor the testing team members in the project
Identify risks and recommend mitigations in cases as needed.
