We are looking for a young and energetic QA - Officer for our chicken processing plant. He will assist in maintaining Quality as per procedures and ensure 100% quality parameters in products. He has to plan, organize and direct his QC team to ensure there is no deviation in quality process flow and SOP’s
Responsibilities
Responsible for the quality control in his area
Follow laid down procedures of quality standards (ISO/ HACCP) to ensure food safety, statutory & company standards are maintained.
Adherence to legal compliance of product and process including product labeling.
Ensure the delivery of product for sale within specification.
Maintain product traceability records
Maintain all process monitoring records for audit purposes and documenting effectively
Commit to plant quality procedures and prevent complaints.
Monitoring factory and staff hygiene standards on daily basis and informing production/cleaning staff of any areas that require attention.
Requirement
B.Sc., Life Sciences / M.Tech / B.Tech - Food Technology or equivalent degree
Proven experience as QA in Meat industry with 3 - 5 years of experience
Valuable communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date with process involved in processing of meat and products
Knowledge in basic computer programs (MS Office)
