Role Overview
NSPL is looking to engage a Senior Advocate to support its collection projects and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements. The candidate will handle litigation, recovery matters and provide legal support across collection-related cases.
Key Responsibilities
Handle collection and recovery-related legal matters.
Represent NSPL before appropriate courts and legal forums.
Handle Section 138 and other recovery proceedings.
Draft and review legal notices, petitions, applications, replies and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice and strategy for collection and recovery cases.
Coordinate with courts, external advocates and internal stakeholders.
Track case progress and ensure timely legal action.
Handle matters relating to DRT, SARFAESI and Arbitration.
Ensure proper documentation and legal compliance.
Eligibility
5–10 years of post-qualification experience as an Advocate.
Mandatory: Karnataka Bar Membership.
Kannada-speaking local candidate / Kannadiga preferred.
Solid litigation and recovery experience.
Section 138 experience highly preferred.
Experience in DRT, SARFAESI and Arbitration is an advantage.
